From 1938-1940 Commanded the Fourth Division.

Johnson become the General Officer Commanding, Aldershot, moving
to Church Crookham.

Between 1944-49. Johnson held the rank of Colonel of the South Wales Borderers 1944-49.
After the 2nd
World War, Johnson was active in our local politics, holding the post
of the office of Borough Councilor in Fleet, and for many years Major-General
Johnson was called upon to read the names of those from Church Crookham
who had Fallen during both world wars, at the village war memorial
on Remembrance Sunday.
Dudley Graham
Johnson died on 21st of December 1975, at Fleet in Hampshire and
is buried in the church yard at Christ Church, Church
Crookham, where there are Memorials to him both inside
the Church and church-yard.
