This is a pleasant pub, with good
sized bars, eating areas and a restaurant which includes
a respectable Fish Menu. Recent refurbishments
really have improved the ambiance when eating within
this establishment. There is a rear facing garden, which overlooks Army land / woods,
and is most enjoyable on a summers evening.
The
partnership's to this hostelry include an ex-director of
Bass. & ex-management to Harvesters, Vintage Inns,
& Toby Carvery.
The beers
are of a good quality and boast:- a
Yorkshire brew called "Landlords", &
Fullers
"London Pride".
There
is a selection of lagers, including a Czechoslovakian
5.0% lager, & also cider.
