| The Fox and
Hounds is situated along the banks of the Basingstoke
Canal in Crookham Road, and with outside seating
available, it is a real pleasure to visit,
especially during the summer.
After an
extensive internal renovation a few years ago. the
Fox & Hounds now boasts of Real Ale with
fine food available from the Contented Fox
restaurant, which is adjacent to the bar area.
The Fox has earned an enviable reputation for the quality of
the food, by being homemade and using local
suppliers.
Live
music is now scheduled for the last Friday
Evening of each month, although this may be
extended to other nights, throughout the year. The
Fox & Hounds is traditionally a Locals pub,
but has plenty to offer the more serious diner
or passer by. |
