Diary of Good News!

Obviously there are lots of good news which happen in my life,
but below I have accounted for just some of them to share with you all.

16th September 1999

I have been walking around with a huge grin on my face all day today!  This morning I had a driving lesson at 7.40am and after that at 8.40am I had a driving test.  And I PASSED!!!!!!!  I am over the moon and have not come down to earth yet.  I am so happy :-)  With the driving test you are allowed up to fifteen 'minor' errors.  Any more and you have failed. You can also fail through 'major' errors too.  Well I came away with seven so I was under half of the allowed errors! Two of these were because I was not going fast enough!

As soon as I passed I rang my parents and Jamie and they are all very pleased for me too.  Me and Mum then popped into town because I wanted to get my instructor a card and present to say thank you for his help.  And then we went to the Pizza Hut for lunch!

It is such a great feeling knowing that I am now a driver and not a learner!  I came back home and my neighbour was there and I told him and I have been ringing my friends and telling everyone I know!  I am so happy and am now looking out for a car to buy :-)  I want to get a small car such as a Fiesta, Peugeot or Nissan Micra so I am on the lookout!

So that is my good news for today!  The best news.  I would just like to mention the fantastic support I have had from my parents and Jamie.  You have all been great.  Thank you.  And thank you to the best driving instructor in the universe, Steve.  If you live in the Bedfordshire area I thoroughly recommend Steve, so get in touch and I will give you details :-D

Finally this has been a superb year for me, I had my transplant, met Jamie, started work and now passed my driving test. A very very good year.

So heres to 1999!  The best year ever!

2nd October 1999

After searching through newspapers, advertisement boards, and lots of adverts, I have finally found a car, and today we brought it!  My new car is a blue Nissan Micra LS and it is really cool!  We pick it up next week when we come back from Bath.  I am busy sorting out the insurance for it now.  We have looked at so many cars, and there has been so much junk about!  Anyway all done now, and I am the proud owner of a little Micra!  I have been driving Jamie's car since passing my test.  We celebrated our ninth month anniversary together last weekend, and Jamie got me insured on his car as a present!!!!  Wow!  I was so shocked that I screamed when I saw the form!!!!!!  Thank you very much Jamie XxX

XxX I Love You Immensely Jamie Davies XxX

16th April 2000

On the 16th April 2000, a year from when we first met ('in the flesh'!), Jamie proposed!!!  I of course accepted!  Jamie arranged a truely wonderful evening and I was totally surprised.  The first shock was the stretch limousine which he hired to take us to our meal and this was one ride in a car!  It was out of this world, with a fin on the back and the car was all lit up. The limo was an eight seater, all leather inside with tv, video cd player and of course two bottles of coke to drink on the way!  We were taken around town before we arrived at our restaurant by a bridge - the settings were superb.  We had a lovely meal and after the meal Jamie popped the question, and gave me the most gorgeous solitaire ring I have ever seen.  I am so happy and the whole evening was a total surprise.  I had no idea.  Our wedding will be next Summer, and I am so very much in love and happy.   I have been dying to tell you all!  I am still on cloud nine!  I don't think I will ever come down!
