All UK orders are accepted by Us subject to the following Conditions:

1: Order
All mail orders are to be made through our Harrison Electronics website. Where an order is to be sent to us in the post use the shopping cart, then choose the option of paying by cheque or postal order, print out the order and send with payment. Do not post or email credit card details. Cash on collection orders accepted only by prior arrangement.

2: Payment
Payment is due at the time of submitting the order.

Prices quoted on this website are inclusive of VAT and current at the time of going to press. We will endeavour to keep prices shown up to date; all prices are subject to availability, we reserve the right to effect changes without prior notice.

3: Payment methods
Payments can be made by credit/debit card, cheque, postal order, cash or internat banking - details below.

Credit and debit card payments can only be made using the shopping cart and secure Nochex on line payment system. Please do not email, post or telephone with card details.

Payment by cheque or postal order - please use the shopping cart and choose shipping method which will automatically calculate total, then select payment by cheque from the payment options. Print out order and post along with cheque. Orders under Ł30.00 will be despatched without waiting for cheques to clear; orders over Ł30.00 may require clearance, at our discretion, before shipping.

Payment by cash - We do not recommend that you send cash in the post as it would not be covered for loss by Royal Mail. We do not accept any liability for lost payments. By choosing to use this method of payment you are accepting full responsibility for any losses. We suggest only small amounts and signed for delivery. We highly recommend one of the alternative payments.

Cash can be paid directly into any Barclays bank for our account, this method of payment is immediate -
please email for details.

Internet banking - this may take up to five days depending on bank. If you are with Barclays, once set up,
payment would be immediate.

4: Despatch of Goods and Delivery
Our aim is to keep the postage costs as low as possible on small items. Post and packing is calculated on weight and size and starts from 75p second class and 95p first class with a maximum of Ł4.50 on heavier orders; orders over Ł25.00 are carriage free. i.e a few packs of transistors and ic's will only cost 75p second class postage (95p first class) whereas a heavy order containing transformers for example could be a few pounds. You can view the postage costs at any time in the shopping cart as your order accumulates.
We shall despatch Goods by your chosen method in the shopping cart (Royal Mail First Class post, Second Class
post or Parcel post).
We endeavor to despatch on day of receipt of order (except in cases of large cheques which may require clearance
at our discretion).

5: Delivery times
Delivery times are quoted by Royal Mail and we do not accept any liabilty for delayed deliveries.
Lost packages - Royal mail does not accept packages are lost until 14 days after despatch. We are unable to
provide replacement items or refund until 14 days has expired from despatch as packages can be delayed in reaching the destination. Any claim for lost packages must be submitted in writing 14 days after despatch.

7: Returns
Goods returned to us ordered in error which are not covered under Guarantee will require our prior agreement and will only be accepted in original packaging, unused and in the condition as supplied. A 20% handling charge will apply with a minimum charge of Ł2.00. Goods must be returned within 14 days of the date of delivery.

8: Shortages or damages
Any shortages or damages occurring in transit must be reported to us within 7 days from the date of delivery, giving full details of any such shortages or damages. Any damaged goods must be returned to us together with all packaging immediately for examination. Any goods found to be damaged through misuse will not be covered.
Goods damaged in transit will be replaced at original price or if no longer available a refund to the value invoiced.

9: Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled without penalty providing they have not been processed. Any orders which have been processed and are awaiting despatch will incur a 10% handling charge. Orders already despatched will be subject to the terms in the returns policy 7 above.

10: Copyrights and Patents
Products offered on this website may be the subject of patents, copyright, design, trade mark or other intellectual property rights. We accept no liability for infringement of any such rights. Reproduction of any content of this website without our prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

11: Guarantee
All goods are guaranteed free from defect caused by faulty materials or workmanship for a period of twelve months from the date of despatch. This guarantee is given provided that we are immediately notified in writing upon discovery by you that the goods are defective due to faulty materials or workmanship.
The goods returned under guarantee must be received by us within 12 months from the date of despatch, suitably packed, carriage prepaid and accompanied with purchase invoice and full details of the defect.
Goods returned under guarantee will be examined to confirm that the alleged defect has not been caused by misuse, handling, faulty installation, storage, testing, repair, or by any other cause then its intended use.

11:1
We are not liable under this Guarantee for any defect arising from fair wear and tear, any other use than for the manufacturers normal intended purpose, any defects arising from use with any other item where such item causes or gives rise to the alleged defect.

11:2
No obligation or liability shall result from providing technical advice in connection with goods ordered.

11:3
Our liability under the Guarantee shall be limited to replacing, repairing or issuing refunds for any goods returned within the guarantee period.

12: Limitation of liability
We shall be under no liability that the Goods conform to description and purpose. You acknowledge and agree that you are competent in selecting the goods for the purpose in which they are used. We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense or personal injury suffered or incurred by you as the direct, indirect or consequential result of the goods being either not of satisfactory or merchantable quality, fit for any purpose, or conforming to any description and you hereby irrevocably waive all rights in respect of such loss, damage, expense or injury.

13: Data Protection Act
Any information provided to us will only be used to manage your account and will not be passed on to any third parties.
