Arranging an appointment

Arrranging an appointment.Call 01335 344952 to arrange an appointment.

Patients are normally offered an appointment to be seen within 48 hours. Urgent requests for treatment from Doctors are usually seen on the same day.

The first session usually takes about 45 minutes, although this varies as each patient is individually assessed and a personal treatment plan is developed for you. Subsequent sessions are usually 30 minutes.

If you are unable to attend for an appointment or wish to change it please give at least 24 hours notice.

Prices

Private treatment

First assessment and treatment £35, follow up treatment £30. We request payment at the end of each session. Missed appointments or those cancelled without 24 hours notice may be charged for.

NHS treatment

If you have been sent by your GP as an NHS patient they will cover the cost of your treatment. If you fail to attend for appointments the GP practice will be notified.

Medical insurance schemes

Patients who are in medical insurance schemes (e.g. BUPA or PPP) and wish us to claim payment direct from their insurance company should contact the clinic for details of prices.

These patients are asked to bring to their first appointment either their medical insurance form signed by their GP, or an authorisation code and insurance details. If these are not available you will be asked to pay and to claim back from your medical protection company yourself. A full receipt, which is acceptable by all such companies, will be issued on payment.

Sports clubs affiliation scheme

Sports clubs may register with the scheme at a cost of £45 a year. Members will then receive a discounted treatment at £25 per session.

Patient records. You may be accompanied by a friend or relative or another member of our staff during your treatment if you so wish. Please let the receptionist or your therapist know, otherwise they will be excluded as we strictly observe a code of patient confidentiality.

If you wish to look at your clinical records at any time, please make a separate appointment with your therapist.

We have in place a complaints procedure which is there for you to use if you have a complaint about any part of your visit to the clinic. Please write to your therapist or telephone to arrange a time to speak to her/him. The complaint will be thoroughly investigated and you will be kept fully informed of the outcome.
