A touch of early Winter on the Aonachs. |

First top of the day, looking toward the Bealach below Sgurr a Bhuic. Get to Aonach Beag by following the left hand ridge. |
Sgurr a Bhuic cairn, stormy scene look left to see Sgurr Choinnich Mor with Sgurr Choinich Beag below and in front . |
Passed by this wintry gully on the way to Aonach Beag, liked the contrasts of light in this picture with the sun shining on the hummocks below. |
Weather closed in on the higher bits, cloud and snow flurries, no view from Aonach Beag, just this picture of the summit cairn to finish with. |
| Aonach Beag, Munro number 224. Felt the first touch of Winter on this trip, the top clouded in, heavy snow for a while. A fierce hail storm driven by strong winds on the way out after which the sun shone, so a real mixture. Taken Saturday 19th October 2002 |
