Very promising forecast in advance of this weekend. Drove to Kinlochleven on Friday night and bedded down in the car. Started walking at 10am on a fine day. Was soon looking at this impressive view of Sgurr Eilde Mor.

Climbed Sgurr Eilde Mor nine years ago. Noticed the path leading onto Binnein Beag then. Always intended to use it to get there, didn't quite realise how much up and down is involved though.

Before starting down into Allt Coire a Bhinnein enjoyed this view along and below the two Munros with Binnein Beag marching away toward the Grey Corries.

Sharp fast forward and we find ourselves on top of Binnein Beag, the cairns and Ben Nevis to the West.

Climbing down to the Binnein Beag bealach look NW to see this.

Time to head for home, via Binnein Mor, turning back East for a last look at Binnein Beag.

Starting to get a bit dull and dark, don't wait too long at Binnein Mor cairn.

Sam was here too, his first day on the hills for a while.

Turn back for a final look at Binnein Mor. Then onto the south Top

All downhill now, off steep grassy going to pick up the road beside Loch Eilde Mor. Last hour or so an interest-filled, mazy challenge of paths and ferns by torchlight and down to Kinlochleven at 2040...

Here's the view to the Grey Corries on the same day.
