Not been out since November 2002. The fine weather over the past few days tempted me to take the trip to Kintail.

Sam came too, here he is at Ben Fhada summit cairn.

Left the summit to walk across to top Sgurr a Dubh Doire. Looking back gives this aspect of Ben Fhada.

Arrived at the East top , stayed a while to take in the fine all round views particularly toward Glen Affric

The West top is Sgurr an Fhuarain Mhor, which gives this outlook toward Loch Duich with Skye and the Cuillins in the distance.

Covered the tops in the order shown in the pictures. Came up via Bealach na Sgairne. Discovered en-route there is a good stalkers path down Coire an Sgairne, (not marked on the OS map) this gave us a quick exit from the hill and back to the car.
