Steve (Rock Star) Wright has, in the past admitted to subscribing to the ‘massive wallop type drumming syndrome!’. However, power - as they say - is nothing without control, and when the occasion demands Steve steals the show with cool jazz or emotive atmosphere behind the kit.  Listing among his influences Cozy Powell and Neil Peart,  it’s not difficult to see why. His more sensitive side lists Phil Collins, Chester Thompson and Buddy Rich , along with Bryan Adams and Bon Jovi as other influences. Steve plays a Sonor 2003 kit with Zildjian Cymbals. Together with Colin on bass, Steve contributes to what must be one of the most powerful and solid rhythm sections in the area at the moment.
