Silkstone Luncheon Club meets on Monday lunch
time at the Ring O' Bells, between 12:00 and 2:00.
Membership is for those who are 60 and over,we have two
members who are 94 this year! Getting to the Ring O'
Bells has been made possible by the services of Barnsley
Dial-a-Ride who take members from door-to-door.
We enjoy an excellent
lunch accompanied by alot of friendly conversation. Also,
we squeeze in two games of bingo and a raffle.
Kath, who is one of our committee members, has plucked up courage to play in public. She provides tunes old and new before our meal and later when all the games are over. In addition we have a number of trips during the year ranging from local theatre trips to days out at the seaside.
