| HOME EVENTS |
An afternoon trip to the Millstones offered us a destination with a meal, entertainment and a shop. All this within a short distance of each other and on the flat! An excellent venue for all but ideal for those of our members with difficulty walking.You can see photos of the event by clicking on the link below. Our Christmas lunch was planned to take place at the Ring O' Bells on the 21st of December but we had to cancel it due to the terrible weather. The event eventually took place on the 4th of January but though delayed it was very welcome and successful. You can see photos of the event by clicking on the link below. We had a successful trip to the Travellers Arms at Oxspring in April for lunch.We decided to follow this with a similar trip to The Limes at Staincross on the 27th May. Again a very successful lunch and lovely views over the golf course. A leisurely trip round Derbyshire, followed by an excellent lunch. We have had a number of trips to the Butchers Arms for an evening meal but this was our first lunch. As usual it was an excellent meal. The trip was finished by the chance to do a little shopping. |
