Southbank, Horseley Fields, Wolverhampton UK
Jaqueline was approached by Redrow Homes to
submit designs for a ‘percent for art’ public art project
for their Southbank canal side development in Wolverhampton.
Jaqueline worked with American artist Marshall Hyde to take inspiration
from the surrounding industrial environment and used the imagery of the
millstone and the metal casting crucibles as the source of their design
work (the site was formerly home to a flour mill and a foundry). The
cast glass windows and stone panels incorporate scenes of the canal,
the foundry and the flour mill.
