Settling Your Child

We understand that some children find the transition to nursery a challenging time, we therefore encourage short visits to the nursery prior to taking up their place. We are available to assist you and your child in becoming accustomed to the nursery.

Your Child’s Development

A photographic record will be kept of your child's time at Country Kids and this will be made available when your child leaves the nursery.  You will also receive a regular newsletter updating you on the seasons activities.

Staff

Our staff appreciate the responsibility given to them when caring for your child and do so with care and attention.  Staff will experience continuous training to keep abreast of new developments with child care.  We follow the national guidelines for staff / child ratios.

Positive Behaviour

We have a behaviour and discipline policy in place. Our staff promote positive behaviour at all times.

Collection & Security

All children must be dropped off and collected within the nursery opening hours. Children will only be sent home with someone previously nominated by the parent or guardian.

If Your Child is Ill

If your child becomes ill while at nursery showing signs of sickness, high temperature or infectious illness you will be informed immediately and asked to collect your child.  If your child becomes ill while at home it is requested that you do not bring him / her into nursery.
