                                                              GMB Union for all school support staff

 

 

 I am the GMB union staff representative at a local senior school in Gloucester.

 

Wayne Powell
Wayne has been a member of the GMB for over 20 years and as an Organiser his sheet of responsibilities covers all sections of the GMB. He worked for SCA Packaging for 18 years where he was a GMB Shop Steward and Senior Shop Steward for 10 years. He is the Area Recruitment Co-ordinator and also looks after members working within cash-in-transit and DHL.

The office currently provides a service for over 10,000 members organised across all industrial sections with a large membership within the Public Services sector, where a significant increase has recently been seen as a result of a major campaign using the Single Status negotiations.
