I will die tonight,
when the sun loses
its daily fight,
Or when the moon
(fat with mercury)
sends down its fluid light.
I will die tonight,
if I live in the deepest valley,
the tallest height,
if I am man of any type,
I will die tonight.
If I am love, life or piercing light,
If I am joy, chaos or the end of night,
I will die tonight.
Then I will have silence
from the beat of my heart;
from the insult of sight.
So, as memory's rhythm fades,
I will die tonight.
