Welcome to Bishop Road Badminton
Club's Website. The club was formed some time in the 1950s, originally sited at Bishop Road School in Bishopston (hence the name). It is a small friendly club run on a voluntary basis. We welcome new players, but unfortunately are not able to accept beginners or novices. We have mens, ladies and mixed teams that play in a number of leagues. The club plays from September through to the end of March. Club play is currently held on a Tuesday evening at Henbury Leisure Centre with Oasis School Westbury (formally known as St Ursulas) being our home for league games. Go to the Visitors page for more details about prices and locations. Our first club night is Tuesday 6th September 2011, play from 19:00 to 22:00 at Henbury Leisure Centre. Club play is hoped to be transferred to Colstons Girls' School (in Cheltenham Road) sometime during the season. |
