What the Old Noise is About

In the coming months there will be some CD's for sale. Also in the near future I hope to list hundreds of Blues songs, that you can choose from to make up your own custom CD's for more information E-mail Me

It is my intention to make this site a portal for all things to do with the roots of Rock 'n' Roll. If you know of any sites that I have not mentioned or linked to feel free to contact us.

Radio Shows

One of the best discoveries I've been fortunate to have made is the fabulous Fool's Paradise radio show hosted by the excellent Rex Doane. whom I believe coined the phrase "The Old Noise" Trust me you won't be disappointed, there are loads of archived shows as well as a weekly 2 hour show. Also worth a mention is the Rock n Roll Dance Party Show On WUSB, Which Play a variety of old and new sounds.

Another site I would like to recommend is the excellent Rockabilly database Rockin' Country Style. A fantastic reference point for artists and song titles.Check it out it is simply amazing. For Vocal Group enthusiasts I strongly recommend you visit The Vocal Group Harmony Website Pre-Army Presley Fans can drool over detailed sessions, including Sun Sessions at Elvis Recordings. Hopefully in the near future, there will be an indepth article on Presley and his Pre-Army recordings, concentrating on his many covers. You will find links to all of these fabulous sites and more on this page.
