Talks involving the sale of Barnsley Football Club to Mr Peter Ridsdale and Mr Patrick Cryne took place during yesterday.

It would appear that negations have taken place and that a deal has been agreed in principle.

It now looks as though Peter Ridsdale will be able to take the club forward once everything has been finally agreed.

Ridsdale and Cryne have been seen at Oakwell throughout this season and now is an ideal opportunity for them to build on the team's recent on the field success.
