9 Mike Sheron
Great skill on the ball but has yet to deliver the deadly strike rate for which he made his name at Stoke City.  Scored 11 goals in 26 outings last term and will be hoping to be given further opportunity this term.

10 Bruce Dyer
Bruce was last season's Player of the Year having scored 18 goals for the Reds.  His tally for the Tykes now stands at 51 in 125 matches.  Barnsley will need Bruce at his best if they are to win promotion this term.

27 Rory Fallon
Capped by England U21 Rory is another product of the club's excellent Academy set up.  The youngster considers himself of the same mould as former Reds striker Ashley Ward whom he models his game on . 

12 Isaiah Rankin
Spackman's second signing from Bradford City last season.  Another player with pace and strength but Reds fans only caught a glimpse of him last campaign as he was out injured. Anyone seen him?

29 Ashley Scothern
A product of the Academey with a couple of outings in the first team squad but yet to feature fully in the first team.

20 Kevin Betsy
Another of Steve Parkin's signings last season after a successful loan spell from Fulham.  Played striker at Fulham but can operate on the right flank or in the centre of midfield.  Good balance on the ball and will definitely feature this season.
