Although I have been living in Devon for nine years I still miss Pembrokeshire where I grew up, and I go home to Milford Haven as often as I can.  I also like visiting the Somerset Levels and Moors and I love riding on the water powered railway at the Centre for Alternative Technology



I achieved three of my ambitions in 1998 by seeing the gorgeous Tom Jones live, visiting Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley when I went to Memphis, and getting a tattoo.  In 2000 I'd like to see Catatonia live, get another tattoo (if I can stand the pain), learn to belly dance, travel around Iceland, buy an iMac and a cuckoo clock and teach my children to speak Welsh.



I love cats (they stop me getting broody) and I recently acquired a half Abyssinian little boy who we have called Taliesin.  His brother Snowdrop is a white cat with ginger ears and a stripey tail.  They are both getting into lots of mischief.  I am saving up for my next kitten which will be a Cornish Rex



I have three energetic and boisterous children and very little spare time but I like to read history, especially books about archaeology, Tudor England and Welsh history.  I like cycling, especially in the Quantocks and on the Camel Trail, and gardening. I have planted several wild flower areas in my garden including a woodland and a cornfield and I plan a wild flower meadow for next summer.  I like cars and driving and have been the proud owner of a Yamaha Passola, a Triumph Herald, a Mk 1 Golf GTI and now a cute blue Cinquecento Sporting.  I am looking forward to the launch of the new Rover Mini this year.
