Mike Wedge proudly presents Frankanwen Sunflower at Dolans
the latest addition to the Dolan Standard Long Haired Dachshunds.

In 1995 we started with one dog as a pet and knew nothing about 
dog shows except Crufts.  By chance our local Ringcraft ran a local
exemption show in the local park and at 16 months Fairfellow 
Fan-Fare won his class.

We took him to a number of shows and got hooked on showing
and looked for our second dog, Larkhund Fitzgerald and both 
have done well at Open shows. 

We are now fully committed to dog showing and looked for a 
better dog to take in to the Championship shows and this we 
found with Frankanwen Christmas Star, although once out of 
puppyhood continued to grow above a reasonable weight. 

Frankanwen Sunflower at Dolans is proving to be our best 
purchase to date, gaining entry into Crufts 2000 and on 
winning a number of good classes culminating in RBPIS at the 
South East Hound Show 1999.
