History

I always wanted a MiniatureSsmooth Dachshund, and in 1974 my husband bought me one for a
birthday present; a lovely little red girl, and so the story began:-

In 1976 I registered my prefix Minimead, as we were expecting our first litter. With puppies of my
own I started to look at the world of show dogs ------- and the rest is history, as they say!
