Mavrokolymbos Dam

(Mavro – Black, Kolymbos – Water Gathering).
The adventure continues as we come to a short stop (so get those cameras ready) for a breathtaking view of the shimmering stretch of water cradled in the scenic valley.

The dam was created in 1966 and holds approx. 2,180,000m3 of water. It is home to a variety of fish.
