Subquests
Act
II features a host of subquests that you can enjoy at any time, regardless
of the main story.
Set up a honey trap for a rogue thief or track down the stronghold of
an infamous Dwemer pirate...
In the sleepy hamlet of Goldington an inconsequential encounter can
often lead to something unexpected:
whatever you do, you'll find that there is more to this village than
meets the eye!
At
One with The Shadows
In order
to join The Brotherhood of Shadows you must retrieve three crystals
from the perilous puzzle chambers.
You'll have to have your wits about you just to survive as you fast-talk
hungry Ogrims, navigate lava-filled caverns and
use magical fish to create bridges of ice! Only if you come through
unscathed will you be eligible to join The Brotherhood.
   
Blades
of The Sister
The Viscount
is keeping a slave girl for a concubine, the right thing to do would
be to free her... unfortunately
that is the last thing she wants! Meanwhile a unusual member
of The Brotherhood of Shadows has a secret mission
for you. Connect the two mysteries and you may win yourself a set of
balanced dueling katanas.
   
The
Ring of Pain
The Dragon's
Perch tavern is home to all sorts of wanderers, one of them being the
amorous druid Margib. He has designs on a
sinister witch who lives in Goldington but unfortunately he is not very
good with the ladies. This innocuous quest quickly starts off
simply enough but will take you from the depths of the earth to dizzying
heights as you hunt for The Ring of Pain.
   
The
Legend of Flamebeard
An abandoned
hut with a slain corpse offers a chance encounter with an old friend
who is in a spot of trouble. A heavily guarded
prisoner in the village gaol insists she has been framed and asks for
your help. Who you believe is up to you, but when the Dark
Brotherhood appear on the scene things get complicated... which is never
good when undead Dwemer pirates are involved!
   
The
Real Bal Molagmer
A dirty thief
has been stealing from the merchants of Goldington and claims to be
a member of Vvardenfell's legendary sect of
gentleman thieves: The Bal Molagmer. Unfortunately the Thieves' Guild
seems to think otherwise. Set a trap for the robber,
uncover his identity, return the ill-gotten loot and restore the good
name of The Bal Molagmer!
