This is my new kite - an Elixir - flying on a beach near Edinburgh.

After a break of several years, I have become hooked again! I rescued my bag of kites, and discovered that they were in severe need of repair (thanks Tom...!!). Having discovered that some of them are so old that they no longer make the same sort of carbon-fibre for the spars, I fixed them and took them out to play. And I am a born again addict! I have no idea how I managed to stay away from them for so long! I have recently bought a new one - and I tour it with me, so it has been flown over a large part of the British Isles already! I think that it is probably one of the few things that has kept me sane over this last tour of Kenwright duty. Although there are some who would disagree...
