ABOUT THE PARTNERSHIP

The Bristol Early Years & Childcare Partnership was established on 21 October 1997.

tri-red.GIF (899 bytes) Aims & Terms of Reference: Our main job is to oversee the Bristol Early Years & Childcare Development Plan. We have 6 principles which guide our work. Click here for a short summary of what we do.
tri-red.GIF (899 bytes) Membership: It is made up of early years and childcare providers (private, voluntary and local authority) as well as other city wide groups with an interest in early years and childcare - including parents.

tri-red.GIF (899 bytes) The Partnership meets every few months - click to find out about future meetings. The minutes of previous meetings are also available. We have a number of Working Groups meeting more frequently (normally monthly) to take forward work.

tri-red.GIF (899 bytes) The Partnership has agreed protocols as to how it operates. These are reviewed every Spring before the AGM in June.

tri-red.GIF (899 bytes) As part of the 1999 Plan we have held an Awayday and are considering further the structure and organisation of the Partnership.This is linked to draft budget due to be considered on 21 January 1999.
