FILM FEAST: Selected 2008-9 Season Releases

Brian and Paul have compiled such lists for the last few years - check the older ones for great movies you may have overlooked. They are all on the BFFS South-West website.

This is intended as a guide to the new and re-issued titles available on DVD likely to be of interest to film societies. It is not an exhaustive list and other titles, including the more commercial releases, may be found elsewhere.  (See this website's listings for FilmBank, BFI and BFFS - including the remarkable French Collection.)  

Note that some of the most recent releases may only be available as 'vanilla' DVDs which may not be a wide screen version or in full Dolby sound - and which may have an on-screen logo - check with the distributor to be sure what quality you are getting. Whilst every effort has been taken to check the information, the compilers apologise in advance for any errors! If you spot any please email webmaster@www.filmsocs.org.uk and they will quickly be put right.
