For decades Tom Ainsworth was the driving force of the group, cajoling a fine team to help him. After Tom's retirement from the committee they carried on for some years the programme of twice-yearly weekend scholarly events and of viewing days. Finally the team ran out of steam and all retired. The Group has been suspended until such time as the BFFS introduce a new Constitution, structure and funding stream. All enquiries should be sent to BFFS HQ in Sheffield.
