The British Federation of Film Societies divides the nation into (mainly) geographical groups: Eastern, Midlands, Northern, North-West, Scottish, South-West, Southern, Student, Welsh and Yorkshire. There is also an International Federation. Each should have  its own committee, events and identity. Some are very active, others moribund.
