Y Lleill
Poster for 'Y Lleill'.
A bi-lingual film about music and other less important things. The lives of a group of young aimless musicians are examined as they play two concerts over a wintry weekend. The importance of music to the individuals and the society they exist in is examined in the film as music is played, recorded, stolen, attacked and censored . As they' play their music the hypocrisy and deceit that exists between the young characters and the resistance to their music that exists in the wider Welsh society is revealed. 88 minutes

Infamous
Still from 'Infamous'.
The film is based on a different book to that of last year's Capote and has much more levity, humour and colour. It has a truly outstanding cast including Gwyneth Paltrow, Sigourney Weaver, Isabella Rossellini, Juliet Stevenson, Peter Bogdanovich, and Sandra Bullock. One should enjoy both films as fine film-making seems to be a rare commodity these days
