A simple guide on how a partner can survive the Modular Conversion Course
| Get a wordprocessor or computer / printer | Get a dishwasher |
| Get a child minder | Learn to cook |
| Get in a plentiful supply of nibbles | Supply endless cups of tea & sympathy |
| Use the spare room to work in | Make up a filing system of some sort |
| Be patient | Be prepared for tears & tantrums |
| Always be positive / constructive | Two heads are better than one ( sometimes ) |
| Help by reading essays ( even if you don't understand them ) you can spot grammatical / spelling mistakes ( like wot I done ) :-> | Always allow plenty of time to do the essays - don't leave until the last minute ( creates unnecessary pressure / mistakes ) |
| Stay calm | Remember sex isn't everything |
| Read & re-read the work | Regularly save your work on the computer |
| Do not rely on spellcheckers, have a dictionary ( two reed threw ) :-) | Writing the essay by hand is very laborious / time consuming / frustrating and these days unnecessary. |
| Take your partner out now and again to have a break from the studying | Keep smiling |
Good luck !
