Me on a good day

I can assure you - you don't want to see me on a bad one!

The text in red has a link further down the page, this is to prevent you surfing off before reading the full page ( that's the theory, anyway ! ) I live in Stockport, Cheshire, which is at the start of the River Mersey. A thriving town on the outskirts of Manchester UK. I am married with 2 children - Matthew & Catherine. My wife Madeline is a school nurse and has just completed her Modular Conversion Course (she passed - now taking the Degree course). Advice for partners.

Madeline is very tolerant as I'm forever shut away with the computer.

We have a cat - Sooty, 2 dogs Einstein and Belle, they're Lhasa Apsos, cute little devils.

Here's Madeline and myself at our friend Franks house on Anglesey, North Wales.

He has a great holiday caravan that he lets out.

I originate from a small village called Clydach near Swansea, South Wales. The villages' main claim to fame is a nickel processing plant - INCO. That's where most of my relatives work or worked. I spent all my youth in and around Swansea. My childhood days were spent with the family down the Mumbles and Caswell Bay - the coast line in this area is some of the most beautiful in Britain. This time in my life holds many of my most treasured memories and is perhaps why I enjoy Anglesey and its coast line so much.

I went to Clydach infant / junior / secondary schools and then went on to Pontardawe Technical School, which merged into Cwmtawe Comprehensive in the late 60's.

What do I do?

I work for Royal Mail in Stockport as a Postman, I've been employed there since 1976. I am also the Communication Workers Union Area Health and Safety Representative covering the Stockport Area. I have attended a number of Health and Safety courses run by the Trade Union Council (TUC). I have also obtained my NEBOSH National Certificate at Manchester College of Art and Technology (MANCAT).

Mad and me at a Royal Mail 15-year bash.
