Charles qualified from Guys in 1977 and after working in general practice in New Zealand, he returned to England where in 1981 he undertook a two year homoeopathic apprenticeship and attended the courses run by the Faculty of Homoeopathy in London. Since then he has been running his busy homoeopathic practice in Surrey.

He was inspired by the work of George Vithoulkas and continues to attend numerous seminars by internationally renowned homoeopaths. He is also particularly interested in nutritional and environmental medicine. He is known for his interest in the use of computers in homoeopathy and has acted as consultant on a number of innovative projects. Charles is recognised for his thoughtful and comprehensive lecturing style.
