David has been in full-time homoeopathic practice for over 10 years based in Winchester and also working in Bournemouth. He became interested in homoeopathy at medical school and studied in India and at the Faculty of Homoeopathy in London. He studied briefly with George Vithoulkas and has been influenced by a number of past and present homoeopaths, developing his own holistic approach to cases and developing an understanding of Materia Medica from both an intellectual and emotional perspective. He has organised and acted as tutor in the Wessex Region for a number of years and is active within the Faculty of Homoeopathy, of which he is President. He has a vision of homoeopathy being practised as a discrete profession and thoroughly integrated with other conventional and complementary approaches to health care. He obviously enjoys teaching which is entertaining and uses a variety of teaching methods to suit different material. He is inspired by the work of the Homoeopathic Physicians Teaching Group, to which he commits a great deal of energy and which enables him to see the beginnings of the realisation of his vision for the integrated practice of homoeopathy within medicine. |
