HPTG TEACHING PROGRAMME

.HPTG Teaching Program
The academic year runs from October to June and consists of:
  • Five modules at two-monthly intervals, held in Oxfordshire; each an intensive two-day programme of seminars, lectures, group work and video case analysis.
  • A one-day tutorial group held in your region five times in the year, run by your personal tutor.
  • Integrated home study between seminars.
  • Optional Homoeopathic Summer School with a teacher of international renown in a relaxed holiday environment.

Modern teaching methods are used throughout.

Seminars are held at the beautiful Milton Hill Conference Centre, set in acres of parkland in Oxfordshire.

Each year a master class is held during one of the modules, given by a speaker of international repute.

PGEA approved (60+ hours per year across all three categories), the course offers the highest standard of homoeopathic medical education, comfortably preparing students for recognised post-graduate qualifications in homoeopathy (LFHom, MFHom, VetMFHom).

We are now offering places for October 1999 to both doctors and vets who wish to learn homoeopathy in depth with maximum enjoyment.

.Primary Health Care Certificate in Homoeopathy .Nelson Barcapel Bursary
We also offer doctors a one-year training for the Primary Health Care Certificate in Homoeopathy. With the PHCC, doctors can then apply to become a Licenced Associate of the Faculty of Homoeopathy (LFHom). Students can then continue with the second and third years of the full course, if they wish. All students on the three year course will have the opportunity to take this certificate at the end of the first year. This year we are able to offer students the opportunity to apply to the Faculty of Homoeopthy to be considered for a Nelson Barcapel Bursary. The closing date for this is 14th May 1999 for the 1999-2000 year. Applications after this date will be for the 2000-2001 year.
.HPTG in Action - An Open Day .Post Graduate Support and Supervision
As well as our usual Introductory Lectures, we are holding an Open Day during module five on Saturday 8th May. This is a unique opportunity to come and see for yourself the course in action, have lunch and meet the tutors, current students and the administrator. We have recognised that graduates of our course are enthusiastic about the way in which they work homoeopathically and want to explore the scope of this approach in different practice situations. We therefore run Support & Supervision Groups which not only allow participants to share their practical experiences, but also to explore the way in which they are working.
