John qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1964, and after five years in mixed practice opened his own small animal practice in Leeds, within which he is now primarily concerned with homoeopathy and the complementary therapies. His interest in homoeopathy began in the late seventies and he obtained his membership of the Faculty in 1988. He has lectured and examined for the Faculty since the start of the veterinary qualification and has lectured regularly at both national and international veterinary conferences. John is involved with the international teaching programme and harmonisation of teaching standards throughout Europe.
