First and foremost is my local, The Swan Inn, Eversley Road, Arborfield, near Wokingham, 0118-976.0475. 8:30pm virtually every Sunday night. Mostly blues and classic rock with occasional (and welcome) departures from this (Scottish, French, Irish...).  No need to bring drums or amps.

I’ve yet to check out the Pangbourne Working Mens Club.  Pangbourne is just to the west of Reading on the way to Thatcham via Tilehurst (thanks for those corrected directions Sue).

I believe their jams are Sunday afternoons, around 4:30, last Sunday of the month.

The Lion Brewery, Guildford Rd. in Ash (between Guildford and Aldershot) is a 12-bar based jam, most Thursday evenings around 8:30.  Ash is near Aldershot, Hampshire.  The Blue Touch website shows a zoomabale street map (as of 9 July 2000).

Bullington Arms, 126 Cowley Road, Oxford, 01865-244.516.  Venue listings in Blah Blah magazine says there is a Sunday afternoon  Blues/Boogie jam at The Bullington Arms, Oxford.  Times seem to vary: 12-4 or 4:30-6pm.
