CHEWTER, CHUTER, CHOTTER (Windlesham Surrey area)

My interest in this name arises through Anne CHUTER (-1769) who married James HAMMOND in Windlesham Surrey in 1736.

I am also interested in her sisters Elizabeth and Mary who each married one of James Hammond's brothers.

Anne, Elizabeth and Mary were the daughters of Thomas CHEWTER (1679-1759) and Elizabeth

Thomas was proberly the son of John CHEWTER and Ann

These families owned a property called Harrishaws in Windlesham. Harrishaws was owned by a William CHOTTER in 1536, so he could be my oldest ancester I have found so far?

I am also interested in a George CHUTER (-1754). He is related to the above, He states so in his will, but refers only to them as "kinsmen".

I have a small amount of other information but am still seeking help on this name.
