My interest in this name arises through Arthur COX (1877-) of Claines Worcester England who married Mary DYER in Claines in 1901.
Arthur was the son of John COX (1840-) and Harriett DAY, They were married in 1871 in Droitwich.
John was the son of Thomas COX (1812-) and Mary READ (1815-) from Salwarpe, They were married in Salwarpe.
Thomas was the son of Thomas COX (177?-1842) and Margaret COWDER (178?-1869). They were married in 1801 in Worcester.
There are many Thomas COX's (at least three) being christened around the area in 1778, so I am unsure which route to take, without further evidence.
I have a limited amount of information about this line and am still seeking help on this name.
