My interest in this name arises through Mary FAGG (1868- approx) of Folkestone Kent England who married Arthur L TRIBE in Folkestone in 1892.
Mary was the daughter of John FAGG (1842- approx) and Mary. They may had at least six other children.
There are many FAGG families in Folkestone mention in 1871 census, and they need quite a bit of sorting out.
I have a limited amount of information about this line and am still seeking help on this name.
