My interest in this name arises through William KERSLEY (1839-) of Rotherwick Hampshire England who married Emily BYE in Reading in 1865.
William was the son of William KERSLEY (1811-1878) and Hannah HOCKLEY (-1877) of Rotherwick Hampshire. They had seven further children.
William was the son of George Kersley and Mary (BEENHAM?) who I belive to be married in Up-Natley Hampshire
