My interest in this name arises through Leopold A TRIBE (1901-) of Folkestone Kent England who married Alice May MULLETT in Reading in 1923. They both came from Folkestone

Charles was the son of Charles TRIBE a milkman who came from Great Chart KENT and Alice Pearson.
Charles was the son of William Tribe and Eleanor Hosmer
The family in the Smarden Kent area between the 1790's and approximately the 1840's. They seem to be associated with the Baptist religion that was blossoming in the area
