Debut BBC Scotland 1951, thereafter in a variety of boys' roles in Children's Hour dramas and docu-drama graduating to adult parts until 1956 when he joined the army.

After graduating from Drama School in 1961, he broadcast regularly in Drama, Schools and Features mostly with BBC Scotland but occasionally in London, Manchester and Belfast.  Also Radio Clyde features and Drama for the Independent Radio Network.

Recent radio work in London includes  three episodes of "Adventures of a Black Bag" , two of "McLevy" and one of the comedy, "The House of Milton Jones".
