2 Minutes of Last Meeting

Roy asked that minutes be provided of the previous A.G.M. J Burton agreed.

3 Election Of Officials

The following appointments were agreed and confirmed:-

Sunday Captains- Sam Burton, I Rouse, R Hibbert

Midweek Captains- R Mullins, M Etherton, D Hadley

M.Levery resigned. He was thanked for his contribution over many years.

Sunday Selector- - R Mullins

Midweek Selector - M Etherton

Fixture Secretary - I Rouse

Secretary - J Burton

Social Secretary - D Needham

Treasurer - I Rouse

4 Fixtures and Pitches for 2008

Difficulties were held in obtaining a midweek pitch for 2007. However this has been resolved for 2008 and we will play home fixtures at Hollinsend. J Burton mentioned the contribution Baslow had made to Firvales fixtures in 2007. Four games played on their Ground .J Burton to investigate buying a brick for the wall in their Pavilion. J Burton to make a contribution. This was agreed.

Possibilities of new fixtures at Brailsford, Elton,

Sheffield Cathederal,Great Longstone and Darton mentioned.It was suggested by Roy that we obtain the Yorkshire and Derbyshire, and Doncaster League handbooks.

5 Financial Statement, Subs and Fund Raising

The 2007 Balance Sheet is available. Roy asked if comparisons could be made between successive years. We did make a profit during the 2007 season.

Subs will remain the same.

6.Kit

Cricket Balls and Scorebooks needed for next season.We again encountered problems of not having scorebooks.

7 Social Events

The Presentation night will be held at Nether Edge Bowling Club on the 8^th March. There doesn’t appear to be much interest for the Go Karting, The meeting thanked Dave for his valuable work on the website and asked if he could look at holding a race night.

8 Trophies

J Burton to circulate a paper on Trophies before the presentation Night

9 Nets

University and Hollinsend nets to commence in January.
