Soprano - Simone Broso

Simone graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with a Diploma in Operatic Art. As a student, she performed the role of Noemie in the Australian premiere of Massenet' s Cendrillon. Simone has sung with the Australian Army Concert Bands as guest solo artist, and produced and presented her own Operatic Cabaret Show. She made her London recital debut at St Martin in the Fields, and has sung with Kentish Opera.

Currently, Simone trains with Laura Sarti and is a member of Morley Opera. She sings regularly in concert and recital and has sung, among others, the following roles on stage: Oscar (Un Ballo in Maschera), Queen of the Night (Magic Flute), Adele (Die Fledemzaus), Olympia (Tales of Hoffman), Poppea (The Coronation of Poppea), Anne Page (Merry Wives of Windsor), La Princesse (L'Enfant et les Sortileges), Mademoiselle Silberklang (Der Schauspieldirektor), Cherubino (Marriage of Figaro) and Papagena (Magic Flute).

Simone is a lyric coloratura soprano. In addition to oratorio, her repertoire includes songs and arias from the baroque, classical and romantic periods through to more contemporary works, including German, French, Italian, British and American compositions.
