| In 2004 besides the 18 eighteen county sides there will be three Test teams (England, West Indies and India) playing in England. When selecting for example, Batting averages... from the main menu option in STATS, there are a large number of choices. The 18 county teams have six options (county, all first class, Twenty20 Cup, National league, C&G Trophy or all one day matches) - a total of 108 choices. The Test sides have other menu options, (Test, first class, One day international and all one day games). It is also possible to calculate universal averages (including all players) under these headings. As an example, therefore, 120+ batting average selections. Similar combinations are available for the other headings on the left. From the four headings on the left STATS it is possible to calculate around 500 different sets of batting statistics. STATS can provide around 500 different team and competition combinations. |
| Individual player record... This is a fully detailed record of every one of the 350+ players who will appear for their county or touring side in 2004. It comprises detailed scores and bowling analysis and a catches summary... It includes full individual batting and bowling averages for all competitions as well as one day and first class summaries. It also includes a listing of the individuals best scores and best bowling in all competitions, and bowlers economy and strike rates. |
| Match detail... This is a detailed list of all matches played in all competitions. Besides scores and results it includes batting and bowling details of the individual players involved. In addition this section of the program also contains a results sequence | for all teams in all competitions, and a cumulative points sequence for the National League and County championship. This enables an accurate comparison between the county sides on the basis of all having played the same number of matches. |
| Match fact sheets... This feature is for those who attend cricket matches. Provided you have access to a suitable printer you can have up to date statistics, (covering the competition you will be watching), to take with you to the match. These statistics cover the players in the two teams you are going to watch. This information is rarely available at the ground. The details printed comprise, (for both teams)... |
Current batting and bowling averages, individual top scores for and against the two sides, details of the two teams results to date, and details of competition best batting and bowling so far. For further information on this and other types of 'fact sheets' visit: Pre-match 'fact sheets' from STATS... |

| Competition statistics... These reports show the statistics for each of the individual one day and first class competitions. They include data from all the matches played in a particular competition and include: number of matches played so far, total runs scored, total overs bowled, total wickets taken, average runs per match, average runs per wicket, average wickets per match, average number of overs per match, bowling strike rates, run rate, number of centuries, number of fifties and number of five wicket hauls by a bowler in an innings. |

| Fielding (catches) and wicket keeping... Comparative figures for all wicket keepers in all competitions and types of match i.e. one day games or first class games. Fielding catches are recorded for all teams and tabulated by player. Reports can be produced for a particular team or for all players and can be for any competition or all one day games or all first class games. |
| Select your own range of matches... The STATS data prepared during the season is cumulative and will always hold information from the first match of the season through to the current data date. It follows therefore that all statistics and reports normally produced on the screen are cumulative and cover the season to date. It is however, possible in STATS to select the date range of matches that you want to include in the reports you are putting on the screen. | This means that you can, for example, select matches for the last month, six weeks or whatever to produce a current form guide. After selecting the period all the screen reports and statistics will cover only the matches in the period selected. Any period can be selected so if you want to know who took the most wickets in July select the July matches from the match index and all the screen reports detailed on the left will cover just the month of July. |
