Special Picture with Text!

Subject: Quick question if you have time

Hi Erin!  I've been a fan for many years.  Attached is a picture of
you, taken a few years back.  Another fan I showed this to asked how
old you were at the time the picture was taken.  Looks like 18-20 to
me, but I have no idea when the picture was taken, or for what
reason.  I just know it is an improvement over anything I've seen
before.  Anyway, if you have time, could you let me know what you
remember about it?   :-)

Dear Wayne,
Sorry for taking so long getting back to you. Thanks for sending me
the picture. It brought back many memories. It was taken in about
'68. I had just started modeling the year before. I was just 18 and
it was for one of the original Sports Illustrated swimsuit editions.
It was shot on location in Puerto Rico. I remember the editor Julie
Campbell wanted me to wear this bathing suit and it was made of
silver mesh with a thong back. Very risque and very ahead of it's
time. I told the photographer & editor I was uncomfortable walking
around in it (you must realize bikinis had just been introduced to
our culture a year or so before), but that I would do it, as long as
there were no back shots, and we shot it early in the morning. That
way I could be sure no one else would be around. They agreed and we
did it at sunrise by the pool at the hotel we were staying at. I
laugh whenever I remember this next moment. When the photographer had
finished he yelled out "Okay that's it" and the next second I heard
this thunderous applause. I turned around and there were hundreds of
young men hanging over the second balcony of the hotel applauding. I
then noticed a sign that read "International Surfing Competition".
Only surfers would be up that early!!! Thanks again for the chuckle
