Name: Prick
Manufacturer: Nona
Bought in: Brazil
Prick - the obvious name for potato crisps. It's amazing that somebody didn't think of it sooner. Cheesey Pricks would be especially appetising. Ever since I first met Sergio, I was aware that the average Brazilian knows little about English slang. But to overlook one of our most obvious, enduring and widely-used derogatory euphamisms for the male organ is surely a mistake of such magnitude that it deserves pity rather than mockery. Still, I'm going to mock all the same.

I notice also, with some additional mirth, that these pricks do not use preservatives. Given my own knowledge of Brazillian slang, that's one joke that won't be lost on them.

It be young master Davis what found this. Respect.

Update: And then of course there's Pricks. Sarah found these in a supermarket in Sweden (like you couldn't have guessed). Thus spake Magnus:

"It's a semi-small bakery that makes dry biscuits, like the crisprolls you might be able to find in England (Swedish brand). Being that small, I can't recall seeing them spurting out that many products. I certainly wouldn't put my hands on their crispy rolls. It's only our fortune that Sarah spotted the erect display of Pricks. Ehh... I'm failing here, trying to make some dry horrible biscuits fun..."
