1) Has anyone any idea what make this Banjo Ukulele is?

I have presumed that the BMI represents Barnes and Mullins although the owner informs me that when he purchased this instrument it had a label attached saying that it had been made by Clifford Essex. Under the BMI it says British Made so do the initials, in fact, mean British Made Industries or something like that? It is much like a Melody which suggest it may have made by G. Houghton and Sons who did make banjos for Clifford Essex. |
